BY Robertson Pony Club
Robertson Pony Club, Zone 10, meets every first and third Sunday at Robertson Showgrounds. The club has been running for 26 years and currently has approximately 10 riding members ranging in age from 4 to 24 years and several non-riding members who are our valued volunteers.
The club offers instruction in the following disciplines; showjumping, sporting, dressage, showriding and mounted games as well as lessons in proper horse care and safety. A typical rally day involves a quick gear check, fun warm up for the riders, ground work warm up for the horses, then we often split into groups to do activities such as sporting races, dressage, flat work, trot poles, or jumping, before a cool down. Other fundraising, or social events run at Robertson Pony club include pony club dinners and our Annual Christmas Party Rally Day.
The best thing about being a member of Robertson Pony Club is watching the small club grow, and the kids having a great time with their ponies.
