Governance Foundations for NFP Directors

Sport NSW, in conjunction with the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD), will once again be running the Governance Foundations for Not-for-Profit Directors course expressions of interestare now being sought.
We continue to receive overwhelmingly positive feedback from everyone who attends this course. Directors and senior staff of State Sporting Organisations and sporting associations have come away from the course with a new level of confidence and certainty around their roles, which results in improved governance throughout the organisation.
The proposed dates for the upcoming course are Friday 19 and Saturday 20 October. This is a one and a half day course, conducted at Sydney Olympic Park, which will commence at midday on the Friday and be finished in the late afternoon of the Saturday, with the timing chosen so as to make it more accessible for volunteers and regionally-based participants. Finance for NFP Directors
Strategy and Risk for NFP Directors
Case studies examined in the course look specifically at sporting examples for greater relevance to the sports context we work in.
