Introducing the two new appointed PCA Board members …
"I grew up and was a Pony Club member in country NSW until I went to Sydney University to do veterinary science. I went on to do postgraduate study in equine reproduction and worked in horse practice north west of Melbourne for several years before moving into management roles in agribusiness and pharmaceuticals. In 1999 I was appointed Director of the Victorian state veterinary laboratory and held the position for almost 10 years. Most recently I have been managing agricultural research for the grains, dairy, meat and horticulture sectors in Victoria. I have an MBA and am a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. It is an exciting time to be joining the PCA board and I am looking forward to contributing my skills to such a great organisation".
"I was a Pony Club rider at Wyong Pony Club from the age of 9 until my late teens and have very fond memories of those years. Pony Club provided me with very valuable horse management, riding and life skills. I am still involved with horses and still ride. Professionally I have over 16 years’ experience in financial services including holding positions as senior executive -Head of Compliance, Risk & Advice at a national financial services company. My skills extend to strategic planning, project management, marketing and communications including social media and corporate governance. I have a Master's Degree in Applied Finance (Financial Planning) and have almost completed an MBA. I also hold Certificate IV in Marketing with Distinction. I am very passionate about Pony Club and the contribution this special organisation makes in communities".
