Shade Grants for Sports Clubs

The Cancer Institute NSW is now accepting grant applications for building shade structures in sports clubs and other settings.

Applications are now open for the Cancer Institute NSW 2015/16 Evidence to Practice grants.

Funding of up to $25,000 (excluding GST) per grant is available for building shade structures in sports clubs and other settings.

The aim of the Evidence to Practice Grants is to provide funding to organisations with an interest in cancer control to undertake projects that embed evaluated research into practice, or generate evidence to fill an existing gap.

The nominated priority areas are:

Tobacco Control
Skin Cancer Prevention – Shade Provision
Breast Cancer Screening
Cancer Services

Please note that applications close at 5pm, Friday 13 March 2015 and can be emailed to innovation@cancerinstitute.org.au or mailed to Evidence to Practice Grant, PO Box 41 Alexandria NSW 1435.
