Keep an eye out for Bushfires in your area by downloading the “Fires Near Me” app onto your smart phone, tune in to your local ABC radio, and monitor the RFS website here.

The below properties are not official evacuation centres. These property owners have let the PCANSW office know that their property is available for large animal emergency agistment. To be added to the register, please email marketing@pcansw.org.au

Melanie has 5 acres with a couple of yards and stables, and a spare room in the house. Please call for more information and suitability. Happy to accommodate any livestock (horses, sheep, cattle etc)

10 Acres - water, room to leave float if needed. Able to provide feed and care if neccessary. No cost. No stallions.

Evacuees can set up their own portable yards off floats etc or I have paddocks available. 

I can feed and look after the horses if need be. Small costs may apply for prolonged stays.

Woonona -Woonona Pony Club

For people needing to evacuate horses, small livestock and pets Woonona Pony Club grounds has approximately 20 horse pens which can be used or people can bring their own yards. We have access to water & toilets. You will need to bring animal food supplies or you can purchase supplies from the nearby Woonona Petfood & produce store.
