Corindi Pony Club is in Zone 9 and meets once a month at the Corindi Pony Club grounds at Corindi Beach. The club has been running since 1992 (22) years and currently has approximately 15 riding members ranging in age from 7 to 17 and 14 non-riding members who are our valued volunteers.
The club offers instruction in the following disciplines Dressage/Flat Work, Jumping, Sporting, & Polocross as well as lessons in proper horse care and safety. A typical rally day involves Troup Drill, Flat Work, Jumping, and Sporting after lunch. Rally Days are divided into 45 minute ‘lesson’ periods and the riders are placed in groups according to experience and ability.  Each Group is rotated through each discipline. Other fundraising or social events run at Corindi Pony club include Raffles (supported by the local Hotel), Fundraising Chocolate Sales, & Community Grant Applications.
The best thing about being a member of Corindi Pony Club is that it’s a small club, with fantastic support and help from the parents involved.  Many of the families are related, and at one stage there were 3 generations of the one family as members.  This small Pony Club is one of the pillars of the community.
