Do you work or volunteer with kids in sport?

A new online Working With Children Check (WWCC) has started in NSW which affects all people applying for new paid child related work.
Existing employees and volunteers working in the sport and recreation sector are being phased in to the new system from April 2015.
To help organisations, clubs, associations, employees, volunteers and the self-employed understand the changes, free information sessions are being held by the Office of the Children’s Guardian.
To register for the information sessions in your local area and access sports specific resources go to http://www.kidsguardian.nsw.gov.au/childsafesports or contact the Office of the Children’s Guardian on (02) 9286 7219.
