WE'RE RAISING FUNDS TO HELP LOCAL SPORTING CLUBS REBUILD AFTER NATURAL DISASTERS
Summer in Australia is renowned for sun and fun – whether it’s a game of backyard cricket or falling asleep on the couch after Boxing Day lunch.
This summer, our Nation has been struck by devastation. From bushfires to floods, Australians around the country now have a long road ahead to recover, rebuild and heal.
At the Australian Sports Foundation, we know that sport is at the heart of every community which is why we have formed an alliance with the Australian Olympic Committee, Paralympics Australia and Commonwealth Games Australia to support our communities in need.
We are raising funds to provide practical and financial support to help affected communities begin the long and daunting task of replacing equipment and uniforms and rebuilding facilities.
Disaster research has shown that communities that come together after a natural disaster heal and recover faster and we know grassroots sports clubs play a vital role in bringing people together.
With your support, we can help Australian communities recover and rebuild. All donations over $2 are tax-deductible and your donation will directly support bushfire affected clubs get back on their feet.
All funds that we raise will be granted out to affected sports clubs. We are committed to assisting the sporting community to raise and distribute much-needed funds to aid the rebuilding process.
If you have been impacted by the natural disasters, complete the 'in need of help' form on our page to let us know, and we will be in touch once grant applications are open.
