An update of available grants for individuals and organisations
Stronger Country Communities
The Stronger Country Communities Fund is administered by the NSW Government to deliver local projects that enhance the lives and wellbeing of regional communities.
Round Four of the Fund is now open and will see a further $100 million made available for community projects, including up to $50 million for projects that enhance female sporting facilities and increase female participation in sport.
Eligible applicants include regional councils and joint organisations, non-government organisations, community organisations registered as incorporated associations and Local Aboriginal Land Councils.
Strengthening Rural Communities
This program aims to give the thousands of small rural, regional and remote communities across Australia an opportunity to access funding that supports broader community needs. Grants are available for a range of grassroots, community-led initiatives with Round 9 applications currently open and closing on Tuesday, 25 May 2021. Click here to learn more and apply.
LOCAL SPORTING CHAMPIONS - GRANT
The Local Sporting Champions program provides financial assistance for coaches, officials and competitors aged 12-18 participating in state, national or international championships.
If successful, applicants will receive $500 - $750 towards the cost of attending their championships.
- Base Grant: $500
- Applicants travelling 800km - 1999km to their nominated championships: + $100
- Applicants travelling internationally or greater than 2000km to their nominated championships: + $200
- Applicants residing in a rural electorate: + $50
