All complaints should be directed to the lowest level possible and received in writing (i.e. member to club). Members should not contact the State Office unless they have exhausted all other avenues at Club and Zone level, any complaint lodged with the State Office must be accompanied by copies of all documentation submitted at Club and Zone level. Clubs and Zones Committee members are encouraged to complete the Play by the Rules Member Protection Information Officer course, please follow this link to to FREE online course. Clubs and Zone Committees may like to form a Complaints and Greivance Committee to help manage complaints that are lodged. Terms of Reference for the State Complaint and Greivance Committee can be found below in the downloads.
Members and Officials should make themselves aware of all of the associations rules (Handbook) and policies including the Member Protection Policy, Code of Conduct, Child Protection and Zero Tolerance Policy and be respectful at all times.
Please remember that all Club and Zone Executive and Instructors are volunteers and they deserve our appreciation and support.
Pony Club Association NSW has a State Member Protection Policy which can be found in the downloads. Please check this before contacting Pony Club Australia. This policy now encompasses a number of policies which were stand alone policies including but not limited to smoke free enviroment, responsible service of alchohol, gambling and corruption, pregnacy, sexual relationships, ant-discrimination, harrassment, bullying, and social network policies.
This policy should be followed by members, clubs and zones and as previously noted complaints must be submitted at the lowest level possible.
